Frequently Asked Questions
What type of area do I need for a hot tub?
A flat area approximately 2 metres by 2 metres is required for a hot tub.
Do I need an outside tap?
We can use an outside tap or connect to your inside taps. We have adequate hoses and connections to suit either.
Remember the tub can take up to 36 hours to heat so access to an inside hot tap can significantly reduce this!
How does the hot tub stay hot throughout my hire period?
We plug it into your electricity supply. We provide an all-weather extension pack. The cost is approximately 30 pence per day depending on your tariff.
How do I drain the hot tub after use?
We require you to drain the hot tub before collection, this may take up to a couple of hours and you will be shown how to drain it at time of install.
How are the chemicals managed?
We provide all chemicals and test strips for the water. We explain this process during installation and leave you with detailed chemical instructions.
Does it take long to set up?
Setting up usually takes about 25 minutes and filling usually takes up to 2 hours depending on your water pressure and the size of tub you go for.
How much is the deposit?
£50 Deposit. Paid by cash, card or Paypal to secure your booking – we accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa and Mastercard. This is fully refundable as long as no damage has been made to the hot tub (please see terms and conditions). Deposits are only refundable 10 days or more before your hire period starts.
How do I pick the right size tub?
Tub sizes are based on manufacturer reccomendation. The 4 person Ness tub, for example, is best suited for 2 adults, 2 kids. If you are unsure give us a call and we will be happy to advise
Do I need to add chemicals to the hot tub?
Each day you simply test the water and add the chemicals that we explain in full when we deliver the tub. It’s really easy and we’ll leave you with full instructions.
Are the hot tub electrics safe?
Our hot tubs electrics are safe and checked/replaced regularly. We provide a Residual Current Device (RCD) breaker as standard to keep you safe. Obviously electrical items should be kept away from water just as you would if you were in a bath.
Can hot tubs be hired during winter months?
Yes, they are great in summer because of the sun on your face but we think they are even BETTER in winter! Experience the contrasting cold air and hot water for yourself. We hire out our hot tubs all year round.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are covered with £500,000 public liability insurance by Leisureinsure LLP.
Are the hot tubs clean?
Cleanliness and hygiene is our number one priority. Our tubs and filters are thoroughly cleaned and sterilised after each use. We are so confident in our pledge that during installation we ask each customer to look and agree to the condition of the tub before signing our hire agreement.
